The leader of the band "Zveri," Roman Bilyk, has filed a lawsuit against the Minister of Culture of the Tver Region, Ksenia Glinka, and the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of the region following the cancellation of a concert in Tver allegedly "due to the ambiguous position of the artist," as reported by Shot on its Telegram channel.
In his lawsuit, Bilyk described the term "ambiguous position" as lacking legal justification. The band leader also stated that he had traveled to the area of the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine, where he performed for Russian soldiers.
The musician is seeking to have the decision to cancel the performance declared illegal, to refute the officials' claims regarding the artist's "ambiguous position," and to recover 100,000 rubles in legal expenses.
The concert by the band "Zveri" was scheduled to take place in Tver on November 13, but it was canceled. According to representatives of the group, the reason for the cancellation was the "ambiguous position."
