Actress Kristina Asmus, known for her roles in the series "Interns" and the film "Text," reached out from the hospital to discuss the surgery she underwent following a severe injury. She is quoted by the Telegram channel StarHit.
According to the actress, recovery after the procedure will take about a month. "They opened my right knee on the operating table. It turned out that, in addition to tearing my anterior cruciate ligament, I also tore my meniscus. The operation lasted almost 4 hours without a break. They even took material from my other leg, which now also hurts and is stitched up," Asmus said.
She also described her first night after the surgery with the phrase "it was just awful."
Earlier, Kristina Asmus spoke about the serious injury she sustained during a performance. According to the actress, the incident occurred in the theater, right in the middle of the play in which she was playing one of the leading roles.
