The renowned opera singer, Honored Artist of Tatarstan and Honored Artist of Russia, Aida Garifullina, performed at the Grand Hall of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky, as announced by the concert organizers.
This event marked the conclusion of Garifullina's December performances. Previously, she had performed in Almaty and St. Petersburg.
The concert in Moscow featured the Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra under the baton of conductor Alexander Solovyov. Joining the opera singer on stage were soloist Semen Antakov from the Mikhailovsky Theatre and soloist Karlen Manukyan from the Perm Opera.
As Garifullina herself noted, she was delighted that her parents and grandmother could attend the concert.
“I am endlessly happy to sing on the stage of the Moscow Conservatory, as concerts in my homeland, especially in this hall, bring me special joy and, of course, immense responsibility,” she stated.
On stage, masterpieces by Russian and foreign composers were performed, including works by Giuseppe Verdi, excerpts from Georges Bizet's opera "Carmen," and others.
Additionally, after the concert, Aida Garifullina held an autograph session.
It is worth noting that Aida Garifullina first performed in Moscow in February 2017. In February 2025, the singer will perform at La Scala in Milan, in March in London, and in May at the Vienna Opera.
