President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin promised a resident of the Kursk region that all infrastructure in the area will be restored after the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been expelled. He made this statement during a live broadcast.
The head of state announced that both the road network and communication infrastructure, as well as schools, kindergartens, and residential buildings, will be rebuilt.
“Certificates for housing restoration will be issued. Assistance will be provided for those wishing to relocate. Affected residents of the Kursk region will receive everything they are entitled to,” the president stated.
Putin also informed that Alexander Khinshtein has been appointed as the acting governor of the Kursk region, as he is skilled in working with people and has extensive experience.
On December 19, Putin will summarize the year in a combined format of a press conference and live broadcast. The event will be moderated by war correspondent Dmitry Kulko from Channel One and host Alexandra Suvorova from the “Russia 24” channel. “Gazeta.Ru” will provide live coverage.
Earlier, the United States claimed that Ukraine had been preparing for over a year to strike the Kursk region.
