During a live Q&A session, Russian President Vladimir Putin urged that pension issues be addressed "without unnecessary bureaucracy."
This response came after a pensioner from Krasny Liman shared his story about losing his home and work record book during combat actions in May 2022, which has hindered his ability to receive benefits. He submitted a certificate to the Pension Fund in July, but received no response, prompting him to ask the president for assistance in resolving this matter.
Putin noted that until recently, it was difficult to confirm work experience for pension eligibility. However, a new law has been enacted that recognizes all work experience.
Previously, Putin called for a correction of the situation regarding military payments in the Kursk region.
