The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, confirmed plans for the construction of a ring road around the Sea of Azov, which has become an internal sea for the country. The head of state made this announcement during a live Q&A session.
“We plan to build a ring road around the Sea of Azov, which has become an internal sea for the Russian Federation,” the president stated.
The head of state noted that this infrastructure project will be of the same quality as the “Tavrida” road in Crimea. He also pointed out that the entire road infrastructure in the new regions of Russia will be restored.
Putin added that the implementation of these plans will require about three years. During this period, it is planned to bring the roads in the new regions up to standard condition.
Among other things, the president mentioned that approximately 21,000 social facilities have already been restored in Donbass and Novorossiya. The head of state emphasized that within five to six years, another 20,000 facilities need to be restored and built.
