Another way to save is by obtaining benefits and subsidies, Bashmakov added.
“Low-income citizens can receive subsidies if their housing and utility expenses exceed a set threshold (13% in Moscow or 22% in some regions). Veterans and participants in events have social benefits,” the message stated.
Housing and utility expert Dmitry Bondar previously mentioned that Russians could save on housing and utility bills by carefully reviewing their receipts, using resources correctly, and knowing their rights. According to him, there may be errors in the receipts, so it is important to check them.
