The Social Fund of Russia will transfer all child benefits by the end of December, which were originally scheduled to be disbursed in early January. This was reported by the organization's press service.
This decision was made in light of the upcoming holidays. The Social Fund clarified that on December 25, parents will receive the unified benefits for children up to 17 years old and for pregnancy, benefits for child care up to 1.5 years, benefits for the first child up to three years, benefits for the child of a conscript soldier, and other financial support.
The organization emphasized that this applies only to those receiving payments electronically. Those who receive benefits via mail will be able to collect them, as usual, next month.
“Some regions establish their own benefits for families with children in accordance with local legislation. The departments of social protection of the population are responsible for administering such support measures. They disburse benefits according to their own schedule, which differs from the payment dates of the Social Fund,” the fund's press service noted.
