A direct line with Russian President Vladimir Putin has commenced at the Gostiny Dvor in Moscow, combined with a press conference.
The collection of questions from citizens to the president began on December 8 and will continue until the end of the direct line.
According to data from the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, the main topics will include issues related to the special operation and the needs of the front, as well as support for the disabled and healthcare.
On December 17-18, the Russian president was preparing for the direct line by reviewing the questions submitted by citizens and requesting relevant information. The Kremlin noted that while it is impossible to address all requests from Russians, they will not go unnoticed.
The last direct line with the head of state took place on December 14, 2023, and was also combined with a large press conference. This combined format of a press conference and direct line was previously used in 2020, when the pandemic prevented both events from occurring in their traditional format.
Earlier, the Kremlin identified the most common questions from Russians for Putin's direct line.
