An American hockey player from Dynamo addressed the question regarding his acquisition of Russian citizenship.

American goalkeeper Hunter Miska of Moscow's "Dynamo" responded to a question regarding obtaining Russian citizenship. His comments were reported by "Match TV."

The hockey player stated that he is considering the possibility of becoming a citizen of Russia. "If everything goes well, I would gladly take advantage of it. I am very pleased that 'Dynamo' supports me so much. From day one, I've been treated incredibly at the club," he shared. Miska noted that the team has always helped him and been accommodating.

The 29-year-old Miska has been playing for the white-and-blue team since July 2024. In the current season of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), he has played 14 games for the team, achieving five victories.

Previously, two other players from "Dynamo" received Russian citizenship. American defenseman Brennan Menell was presented with his passport in August 2023, while Canadian forward Cedric Paquette received his in October 2024.
