Prohibited substances were found in the blood of the 23-year-old Chelsea midfielder following an unannounced check. It is noted that the athlete faces a suspension that could last at least until the end of the championship. This season, Mudryk has played only seven matches in the English Premier League.
The Ukrainian transferred to Chelsea from Shakhtar in January 2023 for 70 million euros. In November 2023, fans targeted Mudryk due to a possible connection with Russian model Violetta Gracheva. Supporters pointed out that similar photos appeared on the accounts of both the player and the model just hours apart.
