The Moscow "Spartak" has decided to part ways with Canadian forward William Bitten. This was announced on the club's website.
The red-and-whites have placed the forward on the Continental Hockey League (KHL) waiver list. Any club has 48 hours to claim Bitten.
The 26-year-old Canadian joined "Spartak" in August 2024, signing a one-season contract. In the current KHL regular season, he has played 21 games, scoring one goal and making four assists.
After 35 games, "Spartak" is currently in second place in the Western Conference standings. Under the guidance of Alexey Zhamnov, the team has accumulated 50 points.
